Ali (Matthias Schoenaerts) is a single dad with a five-year old son named Sam. He`s an ex-boxer and a bouncer by trade, which doesn`t exactly bode well for his parenting. Enter Stephanie (Marion Cotillard), an orca trainer who enters Ali`s workplace, and ends up getting sent home by the brutish boxer. No sparks get kindled between them until Stephanie loses both her legs to one of the orca whale that she trains. After depressing months of rehab, she reconnects (inexplicably) with Ali and the rest, as they say, is romanceâ€
