Organized by Nexus and sponsored by Canon Singapore as its digital imaging partner, this year`s N.E. Mation 6 saw a total of 2286 students from 676 teams participating in the digital animation contest to create a short film based around the theme of NS: From Fathers To Sons.
The top 10 teams of young film-making talents are currently duking it out to see who will emerge in the top place, with the winning team netting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their entry on national television and a visit to DreamWorks Animation in the US.
Judging will be done by various industry professionals, and the public (that means you, gentle reader!) can play part in deciding who will emerge victorious. Voters stand a chance to win a Selphy CP800 printer (worth $199) or a Canon Powershot SX230 (worth $449) for participating, and voting can be done at www.nemation.sg, from 18 January- 7 February.
