And, fitting the stereotype of the eternal bachelor as well as he always does is Owen Wilson, who seems to have cornered the market for playing overgrown boys who love their toys more than their women and couldn`t even spell ‘commitment`, let alone think about it.
While it`s always good to have a veteran actor like Jack Nicholson in a movie, we reckon the real star of the show is Paul Rudd. One of the most underrated comic actors around, Rudd has excelled in flicks such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin and I Love You, Man. He is, in our opinion, the thinking woman`s heartthrob. (Well, we think so anyway.) Once again, he is spot on in his portrayal of the normal, guy next door who is a gem of a guy, once you get past his slightly awkward but adorable behaviour.
How Do You Know is not exactly a film that you`ll constantly be discussing with your friends but it`s definitely worth a good look at just like the normal guy next door who usually goes under the nice girl`s radar.
Quite predictable storyline and not really laugh-out-loud funny, but a sweet movie nonetheless.
