For those of you aren`t big on the Victorian literature, Great Expectations documents the life of Pip (Irvine), an orphan whose life is profoundly changed by a childhood meeting with his first love Estella (Grainger), and a fortuitous inheritance (i.e., a lot of moolah) from a mysterious benefactor. He leaves his small town and heads for London, where he engages in the life of a gentleman (i.e., parties like a rock star). Pip believes that his inheritance comes from the eccentric Miss Havisham (Bonham Carter), his first love`s guardianâ€
