Like most horror movies, Dark Skies opens with your stereotypically happy American family. There`s Daniel Barrett (Josh Hamilton), solid American dad who`s recently out of a job, sweet suburban mom Lacy (Keri Russell), and their two kids Jesse (Dakota Goyo) and Sam (Kadan Rockett). Their everyday life is disrupted when Sam starts experiencing sleepwalking spells and recurring visits from an entity that he calls `The Sandman`.
