The official movie poster and trailer of Filial Party have been unveiled. Directed by Boris Boo, the locally produced film stars Christopher Lee李铭顺, Mark Lee 李国煌, Kym Ng 钟琴, Guo Liang郭亮, Richard Low刘谦益, Irene Ang洪爱玲, Jimmy T, Hayley Woo 胡佳嬑, getai legendary artiste Liu Ling Ling刘玲玲, and Ann Kok 郭舒贤 in her movie debut.
The movie revolves around a reality TV game show titled “I AM FILIAL” which takes the nation by storm with its $1-million prize money pledged for the winner who portrays exceptional filial piety on television. Mark Lee plays the host/producer of the TV game show; Christopher Lee, Ann Kok and Hayley Woo are the three finalists vying for the coveted cash prize.
Produced by PTO Movies in association with Picasso Productions, FOX International Channels, Golden Village Pictures and Clover Films, Filial Party opens on 8 May 2014, in conjunction with Mother’s Day.
