Already Famous - Michelle Chong`s directorial debut and Alien Huang`s first Singapore movie - is selected as the Opening Film for the Asian Film Festival in Taiwan (12 to 16 October 2012). Both Chong and Huang attended the press conference chaired by renowned film director Hou Hsiao-Hsien in Taipei yesterday. This is the first time a Singapore movie has been chosen to be an Opening Film in a Taiwan film festival.

Not content to breaking multiple records with The Avengers, Marvel Comics has upped the game by announcing that it will host a same-sex wedding in it's upcoming issue for its first ever openly gay superhero Northstar and his boyfriend. Northstar, whose human name is Jean-Paul Beaubier, will wed his long-time partner Kyle Jinadu in "Astonishing X-Men" No. 51, which will be released in the United States on June 20.
