The Watch Trailer

  For those of you in the need of an otherworldy funny bone fix,  keep your eyes peeled for The Watch features the comedic talents of Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and the always-excellent Jonah Hill. The film opens on 23rd August 2012, and will revolve around a group of average joes who join a neighborhood watch group, and get more than they bargain for when extraterrestials overrun their town.

Asian superstar Jay Chou and award-winning Hong Kong Director Dante Lam will be in Singapore on 16 January to promote their latest action blockbuster The Viral Factor. Singapore is the last stop of their Asia-wide movie promotional tour, which includes China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Cinema-goers have just gotten themselves a new playground in the West, as Cathay Cineplex Jem opened its doors today at Jurong East's Jem. With 10 screens and 1,600 seats at Cathay Cineplex Jem, Cathay Cineplexes, with its West Mall six-screen multiplex (1,024 seats), will boast the largest number of screens in Singapore`s west by a single operator.
Sony Pictures has released the trailer for their 'new' version of Total Recall. Many would, if you are of a certain age, remember Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original version. But anyway, the new film's directed by Len Wiseman, and stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, John Cho and Bill Nighy. Check out the trailer after the jump.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has Twitted the first look of The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer as Tonto and the title character respectively! The duo are joined by a prestigious international cast which includes Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter. The big screen adaptation will be released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 31, 2013.
Bigger, better and darker - that's what everyone involved in Star Trek Into Darkness is promising us as we get ever closer to the film's release date.

The goal for this movie, director J.J. Abrams assures us, is to "up the ante as much as we could". As you can see from the sheer visual spectacle and crazy action scenes included in the featurette, the Star Trek team has really outdone itself. Check out the video after the jump!

American comedian, actress, writer, producer and television host Joan Rivers passed away today aged 81. “She passed peacefully at 1:17 PM surrounded by family and close friends,” her daughter Melissa said in a statement. Rivers had been on life support since August 28th, having suffered a cardiac arrest during a throat surgery.
Popular Hong Kong artistes Chi Lam Cheung 张智霖 and Charmaine Sheh 佘诗曼 will be in town on 9th November 2015 to promote their latest movie - RETURN OF THE CUCKOO!
