Golden Village (GV), Singapore’s leading cinema exhibitor and independent distributor, has successfully inked an agreement with KRU Studios (KRU) ─ one of the largest media conglomerates in Malaysia ─ to distribute Malay-language films in Singapore.

The Hobbit Trilogy - Release Dates and Title Confirmations
Heads up hobbit lovers! Warner Bros Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures jointly announced today that the final film in Peter Jackson’s trilogy adaptation of the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, now titled “The Hobbit: There and Back Again,” will be released in Singapore on July 17, 2014.

Rise Of The Guardians - New Trailer 'E'
Dreamworks has released a new trailer for the upcoming 3D fantasy-adventure, Rise of the Guardians, starring Alec Baldwin as North (Santa Claus), Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund (Easter Bunny), Isla Fisher as Tooth (Tooth Fairy), Chris Pine as Jack Frost and Jude Law as Pitch. Texas Chainsaw 3D - 1st Poster
Lionsgate has unveiled the new poster for director John Luessenhop's Texas Chainsaw 3D, depicting various masks of Leatherface - compliments of his victims. Ted - New Trailer "D"
A new trailer for Ted has been launched. Check it out after the jump. The film tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with his cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish, and has refused to leave his side ever since. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane directs and voices Ted in this live action/CG-animated comedy.

Star Wars 2 & 3 - In 3D Next Year
With the success of the theatrical 3D re-release of the first Star Wars prequel film, The Phantom Menace, the milking of the Star Wars franchise continues. LucasFilm has announced the next two sequels in 3D will hit theaters within a month of each other in 2013. Will it push fans further towards the dark side of lactose intolerance? We'll see.
