Life of Pi - New trailer for Ang Lee's 1st 3D film

Twentieth Century Fox has released the official trailer for director Ang Lee's upcoming film Life of Pi. This is Lee's first 3D feature, which is based on the novel by Yann Martel about a young Indian boy named Piscine "Pi" Patel. Starring Suraj Sharma, Gerard Depardieu and Tobey Maguire, the film's dated to open here 20 December 2012 but word has it that it's been brought forward to November 21. Director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship's only other survivor -- a fearsome Bengal tiger.
