Matt Damon is back! No, that's not him, it's Hawkeye. No? Yes? Well, for those who are still living in a well, Jeremy Renner, who was last seen as Hawkeye in The Avengers, is the man fronting the Bourne franchise, for now. Renner will play a separate character from Damon's Jason Bourne, Aaron Cross.
Other newcomers include Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton; while Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.
The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise and expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.
The Bourne Legacy opens in Singapore 9 August, 2012.
